Making Israel feel more like home.

We love Israel. We also believe loving a place does not mean pretending its frustrations are charming. We want every Jew around the world to feel like they can take the leap and make Aliyah without wondering if ordinary daily life will become impossible to navigate.

The Screw It team

Our mission

Change the customer service culture, one repair at a time.

In many countries, certain basics are so standard you barely notice them: clear arrival windows, written quotes, clean follow-up, respectful communication, and someone taking responsibility when things go sideways. When those basics are missing here, the shock is real.

We are building a service standard where people are treated with respect, pros are vetted, communication is clear, pricing is transparent, and follow-through is part of the job. It sounds basic because it is basic. That is exactly the point.

Clear communication

People should know who is coming, when they are coming, what they can do, and what happens next. Revolutionary stuff, apparently.

Accountability that follows through

A job is not done because someone says "beseder gamur" and walks away. It is done when the client understands the work and the repair actually holds.

A better standard for everyone

We want clients, contractors, renters, landlords, and property managers to expect respectful service as the baseline, not as a pleasant surprise.

Why olim

We know what it feels like to face Israeli frustrations while building a new home.

We are olim ourselves. We have tried to navigate repairs, rentals, documents, phone calls, cultural expectations, language barriers, and the general feeling that everyone else got the instruction manual except you.

That experience shapes everything we are building. Screw It is not just about fixing pipes, outlets, AC units, shelves, and boilers. It is about making daily life in Israel feel a little less isolating and a lot more manageable.

For olim who need help at home

Moving countries is hard enough before your ceiling starts leaking, your dud shemesh gives up, or your AC chooses violence in August. Screw It is here to make home repairs feel manageable, clear, and less like a final exam in Israeli bureaucracy.

For olim who came here to work

A lot of talented tradespeople make aliyah with years of experience, serious skills, and no easy way into the local market. We are building a path for trustworthy pros from around the world to work in their field, serve their communities, and build something stable here.

The bigger idea

A network of trustworthy handymen from around the world.

Israel is full of people who arrived from somewhere else and brought real skills with them. Some need a reliable pro. Some are the reliable pro. Screw It is designed to connect both sides with structure, trust, and clear expectations.

When a client gets a respectful repair experience, they feel more at home here. When a qualified oleh tradesperson gets steady work in their field, they get a stronger foothold here. That is why this matters to us. It is not just customer service. It is absorption, dignity, and fewer people crying near a leaking ceiling fan.

Team

The people currently saying "Screw It" professionally.

We have our own repair trauma, because apparently that is the founder-market fit investors are always talking about.

Home Repair Horror Story

A neighbor had an AC unit removed. The contractor punched several holes straight through Shmuel's bedroom wall above his bed, warned no one, sealed nothing, and left him to come home to dust and plaster all over the room.

Home Repair Horror Story

Rain leaked from the corners of most ceilings and windows. Then, during a two-week 110-degree heat wave, the central AC turned on and poured water like an indoor pool. Five AC visits and several ceiling holes later, it finally stopped.
