Our mission
In many countries, certain basics are so standard you barely notice them: clear arrival windows, written quotes, clean follow-up, respectful communication, and someone taking responsibility when things go sideways. When those basics are missing here, the shock is real.
We are building a service standard where people are treated with respect, pros are vetted, communication is clear, pricing is transparent, and follow-through is part of the job. It sounds basic because it is basic. That is exactly the point.
People should know who is coming, when they are coming, what they can do, and what happens next. Revolutionary stuff, apparently.
A job is not done because someone says "beseder gamur" and walks away. It is done when the client understands the work and the repair actually holds.
We want clients, contractors, renters, landlords, and property managers to expect respectful service as the baseline, not as a pleasant surprise.
Why olim
We are olim ourselves. We have tried to navigate repairs, rentals, documents, phone calls, cultural expectations, language barriers, and the general feeling that everyone else got the instruction manual except you.
That experience shapes everything we are building. Screw It is not just about fixing pipes, outlets, AC units, shelves, and boilers. It is about making daily life in Israel feel a little less isolating and a lot more manageable.
Moving countries is hard enough before your ceiling starts leaking, your dud shemesh gives up, or your AC chooses violence in August. Screw It is here to make home repairs feel manageable, clear, and less like a final exam in Israeli bureaucracy.
A lot of talented tradespeople make aliyah with years of experience, serious skills, and no easy way into the local market. We are building a path for trustworthy pros from around the world to work in their field, serve their communities, and build something stable here.
